Site operator
As a Site Operator you will work closely with the Site Manager to conduct all plant routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs. Additionally, you will take responsibility for plant performance and overcome challenges to support Operations Leadership in achieving their goals. This is a hands-on role where a willingness to learn and commitment to safety culture will be crucial.
What we offer
We offer you a lot of responsibility and duties, such as:
- Manage truck deliveries and assist truck drivers with the delivery of manure
- Assist truck drivers with the collection of ammonium sulphate, pellets and liquid digestate
- Communicate with the control room and maintenance operator if you hear or see anything out of the ordinary
- Keep the production process going: unblocking pipes, emptying storage tanks and other required manual work
- Do daily checks as set up by the Site Manager, Production Manager or Site Engineer
- Assist with maintenance tasks as required and scheduled with the Production Manager
- Accept deliveries and store them at the designated location
- Maintaining high levels of health and safety, and improve if necessary
- Walk around the site daily and record anything out of order
- Keep the site clean from trash
Requirements and qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience at site operations – or other related experience
- At least a trade school certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong mechanical aptitude and background
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in maintenance planning and preventative maintenance strategies
- Independent and self-motivated
